@techokami@woof.tech The repo you linked is one of the places where I tried to find a precise license. The repo itself contains a MIT license file, which seems odd (I guess that's only for the build scripts, not the compiler itself?). The release archives don't contain any license files at all. I now checked the individual Ada library source files in the archives and they do have license headers with the GCC runtime exception, which is what the old GNAT-GPL builds *didn't* have. So that's good news!

@techokami@woof.tech (whew, sorry for the long tangent - but the weird-ass licensing of the popular GNAT distributions is one of the reasons why I never bothered to look more deeply into Ada. It's good to have at least weak confirmation that the current options don't have weird licensing anymore!)
