@forty2@oldbytes.space Sorry to see that… I adopted a process of always wearing leather gloves while working with ANY power tools (especially drills). This has certainly saved me several times. Also, I have some dull bits that I use (by hand) to take the burrs/edges off of freshly drilled holes. Can make a countersink in acrylic by hand with a little time and patience.     @n8dmt@mastodon.radio @forty2@oldbytes.space I suggest researching “degloving injuries”, to understand some of the possible downsides of using gloves around power tools. Skin is (fortunately!) relatively weak. If the glove gets caught by the power tool, it can get very ugly!
