Are you turning IETF into some kind of parliament/senate by pulling all kinds of procedural ... . No wonder some people leave tech in ....

@rsalz@ioc.exchange @djb@mastodon.cr.yp.to @letoams@defcon.social Since it is an attempt to do re-voting in summer, and since it is July 4th, may I say a plea: Please, don't turn western world into russia or china, please. If you like those places, just migrate there. Most of our ancestors didn't like it in old world to the point of leaving it behind. So, please. And, removal of tools that allow privacy is at the heart of turning liberal place into russia/china. Its that simple. And stakes are this high.

We have another face-to-face meeting in July, we have it every july. It's not a vote . From your post, I can only assume you are not at a regular ietf participant.
