On this 250th birthday of Murrica (how adorable! It’s barely a third as long as the existence of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy!!!) I reflect on the nice little triplet “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” with all evidence in 1776 landing on: take the life of Natives, remove the liberty from the Africans, and for goddamn sure, if anyone is pursuing happiness, nope can’t have that, sayeth the puritans.
