I will be rethinking my approach -- probably still using the cardboard, but less of it and with more gaps or perforations.
Now I'm curious what happens to our locally recycled cardboard...

also, that orange box is going into the recycling bin and not the garden, that was always the plan -- only plain brown cardboard, not shiny or coated.

@dbaplanb@mastodon.sdf.org I'm more concerned about the accumulation of chemicals. It’s always just a small amount, below the permitted limit, but it all adds up in the end. And the effect on humans is in fact, this can only be found after three generations.
