@bazkie@beige.party Go multiple times and smell a small number of things every time, from whatever catches your fancy on first look (the bottles are usually pretty well fit to the smell, idk how to describe it, designed to attract the same people who want the smell inside). You can't do it any other way imho, unless you are already searching for a known ingredient. Don't try to smell more than 4-5 every time or if you do, don't trust your findings and go back to re-check with a fresh nose later. It gets overwhelming quickly. This is a thing that happens to every single person, so don't be discouraged by it. Then the way I found my favorite perfume (Pure Musk) was by inserting all the million different things I kinda liked on a web page and it spit out "musk" as the ingredient they all shared.
