I am a do'er, I am not a spectator, i like to get involved. My approach to most social situations is to jump in an get my hands dirty. I find that when I spend time serving my community, I connect to more folks within it, have a greater and more lasting bond to it, and find a sense of purpose and belonging than if I just show up to watch.
