@Pepijn@mastodon.online I buy little electronics parts and stuff like that from aliexpress, little esp32 lora boards for example. But I feel like that's a little different from shein, I wouldn't know where to buy those in Denmark, most of the time they're just not available raw in Europe.

@Pepijn@mastodon.online culture is broken. I was in a shop in my little market town in the UK this morning and I overheard a girl baulking at the price of something 'no way, I just buy a load of these from Temu!' Use it or lose it. Fast fashion and disposable culture will be the death of us.

@Pepijn@mastodon.online as a contrast to this, my kids are deeply involved in their clothes shopping. My ex-partner and I both almost exclusively shop at second-hand stores. If not, it's at the bargain bins at EB Games, or the like, so the kids can get their favourite anime/gaming/etc t-shirts (and I can too!). Unfortunately, it takes (near)poverty to live like this
