also can i please get a tiny laptop with an actual german keyboard please
why do small laptops no longer exist? i was looking at thinkpads yesterday and they make thinkpads with an X in the name that are 14 inches now. excuse me?
it is virtually impossible to get anything smaller than 13.3 inches.
i know the era of subnotebooks is not coming back but please, give me 12 inches with a decent keyboard???
i even looked at the tiny!laptops you can find on alixepress and such but they do not have a sufficient number of keys. i use a variant of the german keymap and honestly i dont care about numbers or arrow keys but i would very much like to be able to type all the letters in the alphabet of my main language please.
woe to me. what has the hardware industry become. nobody cares anymore for making things that are fully featured work machines and carriable, everyone just wants to sell more addiction devices

@skye@toot.cat iiirc since Chromebooks not really sold well, and the margin is currently way too small for 11" and smaller, many companies discontinued them - also some feel, that a tablet computer is now the way (due to Apple's and Microsoft's marketing battle) . but true a real Minibook would be nice to see again, but getting the few still in production with an AZERTY or QWERTZ layout is due to the small share almost impossible (heck, a colleague needed to explain our UK office, why she needs QWERTZ)
