My TER hit a deer en route to Paris this morning
So I missed my TGV to Lille
But I’m now standing in the bar on the next Paris - Lille as every seat is sold out
Because this is the timetable on a Friday between France’s 1st and 5th cities 🤷♂️

Train manager looks at me as if I’m from some other planet when I explain Dude, really There are trains OTHER THAN TGVs in this country, and DESTINATIONS OTHER THAN PARIS
