well that gives me binutils-2.25.1 before stdint.h is a hard requirement so there's that, i guess. Let's see if that'll build gcc 4.9 with its weird-ass C++ linking behavior.

It won't build GCC 4.9... but it WILL build stage1 of GCC 6.5.0, which was a complete "this will be funny for the thread lmao" move that seems to have paid off????? this is gonna be crushing later when it doesn't work in like stage3 and can't easily be fixed
