A thread about TangerineUI, the Mastodon theme — its history, and why there's now a "Classic" fork. 🍊🐦 The short version: @nileane@mastodon.social created the original TangerineUI for Mastodon. When she stepped back from maintaining it, @matt_birchler@mastodon.social picked it up as "Tangerine Neue," carrying it through Mastodon's big 4.6 theming overhaul so it kept working at all. #TangerineUI #mastodon #css
