@cshlan@dawdling.net turns out the 8 track tape that the sales guy threw in with the stereo he sold my dad was a “demo” tape. At the end of each “track” (4 times) it would speed up. Man, my ability to listen to certain songs off Fleetwood Mac - Rumors remains really fucked up by that.
