@ginaintheburg@mastodon.world My wife and I were discussing something very similar yesterday, about GMO corn and soya and how lucky we are to be in Europe, where cultivation of these is banned. But imports are allowed, so provenance and labeling laws are very important. And again, European regulations on these are much better and more consumer-positive than in the US, where chemicals created in New Jersey can be labeled as "natural flavor."
