@maxine@brain.worm.pink i think in an ideal world it'd be better to write a cohesive program that isnt just mashing scripts and dhall files together. liek right now all of it is hacky and incomplete. i have to git gud at rust or haskell first to make something that isnt trash becaujse right now it shells out to a bunch of external stuff but it would be better if the OCI building was more integrated with the dhall parsing. i dont relaly know how to make that make sense. something that fulfills everything that https://github.com/osbuild/image-builder does, but also parses files with a configuration language library rather than just toml
