Finally I am going to write about Alexey Ivanov & his partner in crime Vasiliy Gorshkov who were breaching U.S. companies from Russia in 2000, offering "consulting" to victims & threatening to delete data from hacked computers and leak sensitive records. This feels like proto-ransomware methodology.
