@zvavybir@social.zvavybir.eu wait a second. You only have to wait three months with the new law. Actually, if you wait more than six months, the application expires and you have to restart the three month wait.

@LunaDragofelis@void.lgbt Yeah, I know that this is how it's technically "supposed"¹ to go, but over a year ago I sent my first Geschlechtseintragsänderungsantragsanmeldung, but my Standesamt claimed that "Zvavybir" wasn't a "female first name" (which is bullshit – it is the self-chosen name of someone desiring to be legally female, so by definition it's a female name), so I had to send another one a year later (the SBGG – in it's transphobic believe that it needs to "protect" us against ourselves – requires Anträge to not be made with a distance of less than a year) and after waiting an other three months on that I finally was able to give my second Geschlechtseintragsänderungsantrag, but my Standesamt is so understaffed² that it needed already over 7 weeks to process that (after a month I sent an email asking for progress and after two weeks they answered that it wasn't finished yet) and it isn't even finished yet as far as I can tell… There is nothing better than endless bureaucracy to slow things down (a wonder that we don't need a Passierschein A38 to just Breath While Trans…). (¹ As supposed by the transphobes that are known as "Bundestag"…) (² I guess I can thank the FDP and all the other neoliberal parties who systematically deprived the country and the cities of funding for that…)
