This article made me uncomfortable. It painted a very undesirable picture of some of the candidates winning under th DSA (Democratic Socialists of America) banner. It appears that along with the many great and wonderful ideas that the right likes to paint with a word they think is pejorative - "socialist" - that some of these candidates are stuck in the obsolete 1910 rhetoric of 1910 Marxist (not then yet Leninist) communism. To my mind that is an error and will lead to lost elections for otherwise good candidates. I was raise in a near communist family, but even they did not go so far as to believe that in our newer (post WW-II) era that sizing means of production and creation of a "workers' paradise" were sane goals. Those goals are even less applicable today as we move even further from the 19th century of heavy industrialism. (We seem to be re-living, however, the gilded age of robber barons.)
