@catmisgivings@stranger.social You're correct about this, but I'm not sure people who were born in areas with heat and high humidity are aware of it. When my wife and I moved to Corpus Christi Naval Air Station on the Gulf of Mexico, we had never experienced anything like it. Pulled clothes out of the closet, and they felt damp to us. But after three years there, I'm not sure we still noticed.
