This is the meme (original sense) that just baffles me the most: "Mac OS isn't open!" You can do anything to it you can to any other BSD Unix. You can compile & run anything. Most of the source is on https://opensource.apple.com If you think "there's no FOO", do a search for FOO mac, you'll probably find it. There's UI & UX (not the same thing) problems currently. Maybe 27 rolls back to something saner. But even then, compared to Linux or Windows? It's amazing, magical. #macos
