Tech needs both a guild and a union, so it can break fully free from corporate and government interest and scaffold to stand up a sky that delivers local apprenticeship >>> mastery programs similar to how trades manage things. It is LONG overdue and the decision to allow corporate, for-profit, and yes, academic institutions to hold this was, is, and may now be demonstrated as a very poor choice and decision, indeed. I can see community college being a valuable hub for this scaffolding.🪔
