So, the EU (and others) want OSS (Open Source) to flourish. We want OSS to flourish. A lot of good things on the Internet relies on OSS to function at all, or better than it would. Yet, tax authorities throughout the EU, hunt down even the tiniest (say, < EUR 10000/year) of donations. Meanwhile, tech giants get tax breaks (!) from the same EU when they rape our privacy and personal data.
