Oh another fun fact: my landlord has repeatedly refused my requests for a paper copy of my rental agreement. They just kept sending the same jpg file from their iphone the exact same way that compressed the image to make it unreadable over and over again no matter how many times I pointed it out. They said they would charge me for a printed copy (in person not in writing).
