The way my family describes weekdays seems different than folks here in NL, and I'm not sure if it's Taiwan specific or just my family.
"This Monday" is the Monday of the week we're currently in, even if it's in the past. "Next Saturday" is the Saturday of the next week, even if the Saturday this week hasn't passed yet, because that's "This Saturday".

@robinsyl@meow.social hmm, what you describe sounds perfectly normal to me, it's what I'm used to here in Germany. Although, for upcoming days, I often still try to make it extra clear which one I mean.
