What will do to the toll rates if there is suddenly 3X the capacity in place?
Math doesnt seem to math...

@sleepy62@social.vivaldi.net Hmm, the math says there will be even less use of the original TMX if the new line has higher capacity and doesn’t have to contribute to the original infrastructure costs of TMX thus lower toll rates. The new pipeline could mean that the debt incurred on TMX version 1 will take even longer costing Canadian taxpayers even more. But you won’t hear a Canadian conservative voice raise this issue. They are all “Yeah pipeline”. (and let’s just ignore out stalwart issues of debt and taxation and pretend it’s a win)
