@pinhman@humanwords.party Yes - when they talk about dredging the Burrard Inlet, I feel like average Canadians don't quite have a good idea of the sheer volume of material that means.
I skimmed a piece by a hydrogeologist who said that the kind of coastal silt and clay around BC's coast means every one of these proposals has serious engineering risks, including underwater land slides.
