Just because they joined the alies and fought the axis powers in WW2, doesn’t mean they’re not inherently tyrannical and have nothing in common with Trump. There’s plenty of crossover, from demonizing news critical of them to build a surveillance state.

joined the alies and fought the axis powers in WW2 Really funny way of saying did 80% of the work of fighting the Nazis after having begged for an anti nazi alliance for close to a decade while being constantly shot down by the UK, France, and Poland who were more interested in appeasement and hoping Germany would destroy the new socialist state. Also your understanding of Stalin and Mao is poor to put it mildly.
