Twitter and Fedi cannot even be compared, because the incentives for running the two couldn't be more different. Fedi instances are run for fun. Twatter is being run to generate profit and as a testbed for whatever Elon pulls out of his ass this morning.

@newt@stereophonic.space I sometimes wonder how bad twitter has to get for people to stop using it. but people might not stop using twitter, twitter still influences society, and everything gets worse.
