Attention all Fediversers :-). I've been asking around recently about what open social web projects should be funded in order to make Mastodon more interesting / attractive to a larger public. Something that keeps coming back is that influencers (not just the fashion ones, but also the intellectual thought leaders) can bring their whole communities here if there was a monetization model available. 1. Do you agree we should welcome the masses? 2. What would such a monetization model look like?
