@Savagejen@mastodon.social @morb@mastodon.social it's made worse by the fact that even if you degoogle your own e-mail account, now you're stuck with google deciding "because you sent mail from somewhere we don't trust, you're spam"

@Savagejen@mastodon.social @morb@mastodon.social p.s. I really want a DIY version of google voice that is open source and uses Asterisk. Whole shebang, call forwarding, in-call forwarding, voicemail transcription, SMS+MMS, ring-all-numbers, and a mobile app that takes care of the magic of "an outgoing call from the handset is coming into my DID, but that's actually an outgoing call *from* the handset to [entirely different number]"
