A compute-based Vulkan APV encoder just got merged into FFmpeg. Runs at 1200fps on a 6900XT for 1080p422 10-bit. Its meant for low-overhead screen recordings, or low-latency 4K streaming over a gigabit link. Oh, yeah, I also wrote it, so the very least I can do is mumble it into the void or something...
