I've seen some talks posted about CHERIoT at places like media.ccc.de, but all I recall hearing about it was safety and security. I don't think I recall hearing anything about how it helps improve interoperability, enables next generation of programming languages, or gives programmers new ways to express themselves. Are there talks or papers I should have been paying better attention to?
Since I saw there is now a FreeRTOS compatibility layer, that made me think to look if micropython was ported yet, and I found an ACM paper about that, so I will at least have to read that one.
