@jolness@mastodon.social @pluralistic@mamot.fr i just picked that up. my work is "excited to see how we can use ai" and is asking if it can do X and im like it could. but thats like sending a f-35 to get a rabbit out of your garden.
simple programming stuff like resizing images or validating if a email was entered correctly 🤦♂️

@notsle@kzoo.to @pluralistic@mamot.fr this is early in the book but I think the point about people allowed to use their judgement on when and how to use new technology liking it and those being forced is really well put. And that line between using and being used by automation is such a great one to investigate. I’m only 50 pages in so far but per usual, Cory is sharp and has a knack for really putting together ideas in a way that is insightful in a way that makes it feel obvious (in a good way)
