Perl 6 was such a disaster that it's now called Raku 4. Having functions with arguments defined at the top like literally every other higher and lower language, would be nice 5. Big Perl codebases are difficult to read 6. Event-based and procedural-based programming are different styles of programming, both have their strengths and weaknesses 7. React is a game changer where context shifting is eliminated during development, backend / frontend consistency goes away, and full-stack developers replace dedicated backend and frontend developers 8.
