I loved how the learning curve between it and JAWS, which was the screen reader I was using at the time, was so easy and did exactly what I wanted it to do. A friend of mine taught me how to use it, and he only had to spend a half an hour getting me through the basics including email, internet browsing, most of Microsoft Office and social media. I haven't gone back to any other screen reader since, and I won't as long as NVDA is around.
