These two aren’t mutually exclusive. My cats consider my husband and I to be their persons (one each), but I’m pretty sure they also consider it their house.

My cat considers my bedroom hers everything outside of it as the scary outside and I am a dumb idiot cat who keeps leaving and should really just sit perfectly still in her domain where she can ensure I don’t hurt my self. Its rather funny.
