This Home Assistant thing is a real rabbit hole. I thought I'd just learn something like "a new Docker container", a couple of days of learning and I'd be done. My ass! HA is a freaking Swiss Army knife: I can automate even the damn toaster, and HA will help me create a new scene for it. If you don't hear from me in the coming weeks, it's because there's no cell service at the bottom of the rabbit hole. Wish me good luck. #selfhosting #homeassistant
