My plastic footrest broke. This was an opportunity to use some salvaged deck boards to make a new foot rest. I think they are Douglas fur and they are heavy for softwood. Some dark stain brings out the grain and some brass screws to finish the rustic look. #DIY #woodworking #upcycling
