@Holocluck@universeodon.com @erikMondrian@fosstodon.org Well, it's my personal belief that the Mentor experience is quite a bit different from that now, and I'm sorry that you had a rough start. There are still situations where there aren't any Mentors available, simply because there aren't enough people volunteering these days. But we do our best to help 3, 4, or 10 people at once. I do think that Torley's videos are still quite helpful, yes. I used one to help figure out a flexi-prim issue just a few days ago. :)
