My attempts at search having failed, I’m wondering if any Torontonians remember That Day It Was 50C. Was in the 1990s, want to say 1995, but maybe 1996. Was preceded by a long (2+ week) heat wave, but that specific day was insane. Anyone else remember? I remember lineups outside every establishment on Yonge that had AC.
