@dan_kn@mastodon.social @django@social.coop I don't see the quote from Naomi Klein as prescriptive; it's a valid criticism & a straightforward observation of what the AI companies are trying to do. Calling BS on Sam Altman's framing. Hopefully public criticism like this will lead to constraints on AI to prevent these harms, though unlikely under the current regime in the USA.
