We turned round and began our walk back to the cottage, noticing the #shed alongside the #drydock that operated as the #office, the #waterlevel above through and below the #stoplock which seems exceptionally high and a well restored old #workboat in #Brit[sh #Waterways livery.

@ukwaterways@fedigroups.social As we reached to tunnel mouth I took a photo through it. On checking it was surprised to see a white dot. It turns out you really can see the other end. We continued up the lane on our return journey.
