@Jonas@social.linux.pizza tried to purchase a Korean song once (since it's not available on TIDAL where I usually stream my music), but international services like Qobuz didn't have it and Korean services require a Korean phone number (and sometimes even ID verification) for registration. Eventually I did find a service where I was able to sign up through some loopholes, and I had the song in my cart ready for checkout, but then once again phone verification was required to purchase credits required to buy anything. That's the point where I gave up. In some other cases, I bought some CDs from Japan using a proxy service, which ended up being very expensive but the only way to get my hands on a legitimate copy that's not from a streaming service.
