The #Railway 200 exhibition train Inspiration has completed its year-long #UK tour after attracting more than 104,000 visitors across 65 stops and travelling 12,000 miles. The free travelling exhibition, featuring interactive displays, railway artefacts and career information, visited communities with limited access to national museums. Its final stop in Scarborough on 22 June included cab tours, an exhibition of watercolours by artist Glynis Dray, and confirmation of the train's future. The Wonderlab on Wheels carriage will move to Locomotion museum in Shildon, while the Your Railway Future carriage will be retained by Network Rail at its Melton test track. Railway 200 also released its Commemorative Review, highlighting achievements including 1.4 million event attendees, more than 100,000 young people taking part in STEM and careers activities, and £1 million in National Lottery Heritage Fund grants.
