@onpaperwings@typo.social but I worry about all the people who don’t have the luxuries that I do. I can afford Kagi. I can afford Jstor. I can drive to a university library (SKO BUFFS!) and have access to more research tools than I have time to use. But what about all the working class people in the Global South who can’t afford anything not included in their phone contract and have no library to access?

@DunwichType@typo.social 100% agree and I have the same concerns of affordability. I think part of it is proving the concept that we don’t have to give away privacy for basic Internet use. Sadly, things will not get built if there is not a market to pay for it. Perhaps as Kagi grows, they can figure out a way to make it accessible to others?
