Aren’t there people around you who help those who are so hungry they can’t even find food? Or do you have any chance to getting free food?

Sounds like you mean poverty-induced starvation?

For anyone in scenarios like this: You likely already know about local food banks, but just mentioning them for thoroughness. Look for local chapters of Food, Not Bombs to find out when they do food distros. Try contacting them via online contact information for direct aid as well. Speaking of, look for mutual aid groups in your area. Some online directories can be found at www.mutualaidhub.org, organize.directory/location and communitycommons.org/…/edd8457e-d151-441f-9113-f4… Look for local Sikh temples in your area that serve Langar, which are free community meals available to everyone of any faith. Try asking around for extra produce from people’s gardens on online local groups, especially gardening groups. This might mostly net you copious amounts of zucchini, but it’s still something.
