@noodlemaz@mstdn.games I moved to France long before Brexit, and was shocked to see many Brits here vote to leave, resulting in them no longer being able to live here! My wife and kids already had French passports, and I got mine 4 years ago. I've worked 100% remotely since 1994, and all my clients are outside France, which strangely enough makes the paperwork slightly easier.

@noodlemaz@mstdn.games France is difficult to get into without French (and mine is still quite bad), as English is much less widely spoken than it is in NL, DE, DK, etc,, but there are still quite a few French companies recruiting English speakers.
