@cmccullough@polymaths.social Luddites were not originally those who hated technological progress. They were people who hated and rejected the abuse and dismissal of humans being replaced by machinery. It was the human cost at the heart of their protest. So yes, I am a Luddite. And it is the right thing to be. We should always oppose machines damaging humanity. Wealthy business owners getting rid of people because a machine can do the work (so they have been told). Luddites forever!
