Got a question for you #Mastodon - what is the ethics of creating an account here for a #podcast I really like? I've had a crazy thought of creating an account for the "In Our Time" podcast on #BBC. I enjoy it every week and thought it would be an interesting way of adding some interesting material to the #Fediverse. I've had the idea since the BBC's experiment here in the Fediverse. I am convinced that it would have been more successful if they had created accounts for select programs and journalists, not the stations (which are too broad for a platform that encourages niches). Good idea? Bad idea? Couldn't care less? Does one get permission, even if I plaster the account with "JUST A FAN ACCOUNT" or "NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE BBC"?
