@kravietz@agora.echelon.pl That framing of "voluntary migration" is a standard tactic across post-Soviet regimes. In Georgia, the official narrative around the 1940s deportations of Meskhetian Turks also uses the same euphemism never mentioning the train cars or the armed guards.
